CRAZY BOT
Crazy Bot is a study of how to emulate organic and spontaneous, yet randomised emotion and characteristics in a robot that is rigid where movement is restricted. This study aims to create in a simple 360 servo a specially designed wheel that will allow for the exhibition of character purely using physics and product design knowledge, with the help Read more →
Final Project: Process Documentation

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epBdkZ9shHI&t=5s
In this project, I have explored stepper motor using motor shield. This motor shield is a similar one with ada fruit v2 that can power up 2 stepper motor or 4 servo motor.
Initially the 12V external power was connect though the Arduino port, however the Arduino and motor shield get really hot after it runs for 5 mins. Read more →
Renewable Oil Conversion Machine | Semester Project Documentation

https://vimeo.com/244191126
The Renewable Oil Conversion Machine is a speculative invention that harvests and converts human facial oil into biodiesel. It seeks to resolve future energy crises and shortages by producing alternative, renewable sources of energy. With energy consumption at a historical high, the time has come to explore untapped resources such as mankind’s infinite supply of sebum and facial oil.

Robotics and ethics presentation

In this presentation, I talk about how ethos are any relevant in the future development of tech, citing examples of robots that has Artificial Intelligence and one that are pure mechanical with basic programming. Will they harm us like it is always portrayed in movies or are there hopes that one day, both robots and us can live harmoniously?

Human+ @ ArtScience Museum

Visiting the Human+ exhibit was very enjoyable and thought-provoking. Many of the works present possibilities for the way we may live and work in the future. My takeaway from the exhibition is that it invites viewers to ponder about the implications of rapid technological development, and how it alters our relationship with technology.
One of the works which caught my Read more →

Robotics Presentation - Biologically Inspired Robots.

The field of Bio Inspired robots is too wide and I think that we will benefit more by understand the different ways of how we could learn from the nature rather than narrowing the scope down and go deep into one of the sub division of bio-inspired robots.
The File size for the presentation is too large so I screen recorded Read more →
