Initially I wanted to do a dye-cut of the pinball machine, a continuation of my design for the poster but after feedback and much consideration, I decided that a dye-cut might not be necessary as it would be harder to determine the folds of my design.

Brochure Designs

For me, this brochure works because of how the layout flows across the panels. The images are treated to merge with the texts. The teal organic shapes direct our eyes to the first panel. Then, the title lead us on.

Project 3: Task 1 - Design Exploration

Existing Brochure Design:
Design 1: Simple paper cut and folds are used to achieve interesting pop-up effect.
Design 2: This piece is interesting as it transforms conventional A4 sheet using simple folding technique.
Design 3: Contents are divided through the smart use of colours.
Through these quick references, I wanted to design my brochure by incorporating the use of folding and colours to separate the contents.

After getting the feedback:
I decided to place my elephant on both sides which mean when viewers open the brochure, they can see an elephant. When they close it, they also can see an elephant at the back of the brochure. 06 Nov Preliminary Design Review
I chose my mock up 3 and modified the brochure design.
I arranged the elephant on one side. When viewers open it, they can see an elephant. I did a die cut to see the hot air balloon which is located at the inside of the brochure.
