Hi Sin Yi, good exploration there. Can if you read this before class and have time, can i get you to 'clean up' some of the smaller pencil marks as they have disappeared when the logo size get reduced. you want to ensure consistency in the logo appearance. You may also wish to play with the orientation of the swoosh line behind the heart design to create more dynamic and energy. Even the wings can be a little bent and have a little more detail - eg are they wings if so how might they look like beside the current shape. Do incorporate "Art on the Move"
very good investigations!! keep it up!!

@ ta0025ee

Concept: Caring

Keywords: Sunlight, Sunflower, Swan, Hearty, Warmhearted, Cheerful, Hopeful, Optimistic

I chose gentle, soft and warm elements to embody my concept.

I sketched some elements from realistic to abstract. I tried to simplify the elements. Besides, I also combined the keywords (Verb+Abjective) to show my concept.

This worksheet helps to break down our design process and critically consider different types of possibility. After completing it, I narrowed down to 3 imageries that best reflects the identity of Art-on-the-Move Programme:

1. Positivity – pocket + craft material

2. Fun – bed

3. Transformation – friends/companian

While all of these sketches are supposed to reflect the identity of the programme, these 3 Read more →

Sketching & Concepts Exploration

Sketches were done up to study the possibilities of the various icons and motifs that could be included in the badge design. Upon seeking feedback, simplification was key to creating a logo that is easy to remember and captivating to the eyes. Most importantly, the line weight was not to be forgotten for the thinner lines may Read more →

@ benjamin kuah

We began our visit to Ng Teng Fong hospital for our assignment brief prior to embarking on our project. Taking a look around the hospital, I noticed the hospital liked expressive, vibrant illustrations with a touch of nostalgia.
