journey through glitch… create their own sound displacement… view the audio-displaced/remixed advertisement product…  I can find order within chaos… how the gaps in a system could be the point of attraction… wrong could actually be the new ‘right’ in this world… defining my own sense of order and rightness among the parade of glitched visuals and audio…

swappie is the post-selfie selfie… we savor the control that we have over the process of creating… visual self-documentation to express personal autonomy… thus the trolling on Facebook began… to reclaim photography as a source of empowerment… create culture by subtly countering the messages that the media distributes… actively participating in a modern take on the historic art of portraiture…

this phenomenon of Virtual Politics…. active (47) beautiful (55) best (58) building (88) business (58) celebrate (98) centre (73) chatting (51) children (70) chinese (57) city (50)… a comparison of the number of likes against the number of shares over time…. entered the Third Space via live Facebook chats with young Singaporeans… what is the nature of the data they leave online?… I got some not-at-all-aesthetically-appealing visualisations…

Phantom in the Machine | Diana Toh

the artist is telepresent… fundamentally disrupt the otherwise peace and order… the internet as an extension to men’s brain in prosthetic knowledge… to be broken is to be free… we decide which is burden or opportunistic growth… a mediated situation creates a simulation that human are perhaps more comfortable with… empowerment of the machine as an extension of our mere body… the hint of intimacy in machine learning… touch is the space of the gap, not the connection…

the true value of memes… people will think of joke images, witty catchphrases, or cats… the internet is a giant gene pool… memes are the micro-organism swimming in it… ending up in the internet archives… spend a lifetime existing and then return to the soil… let the meme live and celebrate its death… mourn the short live span of meme/fad/trend while at the same time have fun doing it…
