Final Project Update 2: Methods/Setup

Previously I was working on collecting screen recordings and thinking about how I can make use of the inbuilt screen recording function on Quicktime to capture my working process. I was quite comfortable with the approach, until I started using Periscope more after the micro-project we did on it a few weeks ago. I enjoy using Periscope quite a lot, Read more →

Final Project Update 2

I tested out my idea to have myself in the physical space while interacting with people in the third space. This essentially makes the paper a interface for me.
I found this to be very difficult to execute. There is a large time difference for me to write or draw a response rather than speak it which often killed Read more →

Final Project Update 2: Methodology and Try out

So after discussing with Randal, I am now trying to create a virtual vision that uses perhaps apps like Google map to navigate myself soley. So the use of eyes is only for precaution but not for the navigation other than looking at the Google Maps device or app.

As I was doing that, I’ve also been thinking of how this can relate to the internet and how I can turn this small photo project into my final Read more →

The Great Escape

Let’s recap: My idea for the final broadcast was the concept of the Escape. In my previous post, I juxtapose a video of a plane taking off and also a scene where the bus is at the Causeway. These two elements of escape in a sense that I am escaping from Singapore but figuratively, I also wish to escape from Read more →

Project update

After doing the Jennicam review and having more ideas about the third space, I would like to do a live performance art of me doing make up but I’ll transform myself into different personalities. Eg. I could transform myself to a tom boy, or I could change my hair to purple by wearing a wig.
