Latest updates:
On/off button is done by recessing slightly into the body,
Approach one: lid sitting atop,
Approach two: hinged lid
Currently, I am trying to see if it is possible to eliminate the lid altogether. Like it is a built-in cover instead of a separate piece.
Final Catridge design (hopefully)

Form changes:
1. Overall form: triangular cap, circular bottom.
Ideally, the neck point is where the user will hold the tube. Change in shape helps the tube to rest nicely on user’s finger.

Explored patterns (octopus/cephalopod skin cells) to be projected onto the model:
