Write a narrative of how your idea developed. (Begin by giving some response to the 1st dance and games night)

On the first dance and games night, we only had a brief introduction of everyone. We didn’t Read more →

Dear Scott & Chang Zuo, It is truly amazing that we can live in this small island and still have so much here that is misunderstood or not noticed at all. The warmth and personal sharing you and your family opened up to Akbar and Habibullah was beautiful and Akbar and Habibullah reciprocated beautifully with your family. This was truly a joy to see. You have set an example and these men our new friend have truly set and example for us. Your film expresses the humanity between us. Thank you for doing this work and please keep it up. See you in May?
I certainly did enjoy your video one more time...I am doing a presentation on your work (the classes work) in Taiwan tomorrow...if they have WIFI in the room I'll play it for them you both are very remarkable and with your talents and sensibilities and intellect you'll move the world

There are rules on which animals are stronger than the other. The stronger ones are allowed to ‘eat’ the weaker ones. There are also ‘rivers’ on the board that only Read more →

Gui Li does have a painting talent! & drawing too! I'm very glad you went into further discussion of some of the things you learned from the foreign workers instead of just listing them. Yes our time constraint did confine us but you created a very meaningful engagement and found a place where you both can relate. It's a potent symbolic ending also, to paint together a painting about the foreign workers as you contemplate the time we spent and sort out the feelings it has left with all of us.

@ Zijie's Crib

I worked on this project with Justin. We decided on creating a food reaction video as we thought food is an important aspect in their daily lives. The foreign workers tried out Singaporean food as we captured their reactions. We bought Chicken Rice, Bean Curd, Curry Puff and Po Piah.

We present to you our final project video:

Very sincere engagement. It's very humorous too. You really need to make this into a TV show!
Absolutely LOVE it!!!
