@ A150046

My team and I have reviewed our presentation structure and came up with a new and improved version!

Firstly, we will start by introducing what the Tang shipwreck is (background), then concentrate our presentation on 2-3 particular ceramic pieces that we feel are vital to learn about from the shipwreck.

The information we will include about the ceramic pieces are as follows:

Good! So, what does design refer to? Shape? Color? Pattern? What is the main idea that holds the presentation together? What is the connection/transition from the first section to the second section?

Hey Sujatha!

My team and I visited the Asian Civilisation Museum today and the exhibition about the Tang shipwreck was fantastic! We didn’t manage to find the Dehua kiln ceramics, but instead there were some examples of pure-white porcelain which is quite similar.

I am glad to hear that you all had a chance to see the Tang Shipwreck gallery--it is indeed wonderful! The curator of this gallery was supposed to speak next week at ADM. But, sadly that talk has been now postponed to March 9th. However, if you plan to work on Chinese ceramics as your research paper topic, your team can certainly still attend the talk. The structure is good, but it is a bit ambitious. Please remember that you have only 20 minutes. You can keep some information for the Q & A, in hopes that someone will ask a question about your presentation. What is the main point you are trying to convey in this presentation? The following section seems a bit repetitious: "followed by a more in-depth exploration of the designs on the various ceramics. This will be supplemented with 2/3 examples of ceramic artefacts found in the exhibition and some information on the choice of design/material/stye of illustration used/possible influences etc."
