Week 10: Plan for Tutorials (Final Group Presentation and Final Assessment)

By: Sujatha Meegama |

Dear All,

At last, I have finished looking at your proposals, introductions, paragraphs with a point, and drafts! Please remember to submit your research paper by midnight tonight to the Turnitin link created on the G6 NTULearn site (under Assignments).

This week, we will have our final group presentation by team 5 on Japanese screens. Hopefully, it will help us to think about visual responses by contemporary artists towards premodern artwork. Sadly, I won’t hear you all, but Eve Loh Kazuhara, one of our tutors, will lead your tutorial on Thursday.

After the presentation and discussion, please discuss your own visual response for the final assessment with your new group members. Remember that you don’t need to stick to the suggestions on the two-page prompt you received last week. You can respond to an object you have already studied for your group presentation or research essay.

Below are the new groups. Please call your group some new names and establish a new category on OSS to continue your discussion. I would like to see a post on Thursday night telling me what your initials plans are for this final project. You can consult me in person during week 11. Please be prepared to share your project in a slide presentation with me during week 12.
