Scene analysis of “Con-fident” Scene 1.
Characters: Establishing the relationship between Scammer and his Colleague, which clearly shows that Scammer does the bidding of Colleague much to his annoyance. Scammer is a ‘small time ah beng’; all talk but no bite. Whereas Colleague is much older, scarier and higher ranked than Scammer. Colleague likes to take advantage of Scammer and make him do his bidding.

Camera Concept
I’m thinking of using a static camera and longer shots which require slightly complex blocking, like in old black-and-white movies when the movie camera was less mobile. So there is less focus on the editing- the viewer will see more of the ‘pure performance’ from the actors.

The shots in General are handheld, more so on the focus of the witch.
The handheld motion of the camera as well as the lagged or slow movements of the camera that follows the witch, shows the descent into madness of the witch.
