Step inside “Momentum,” the massive installation from United Visual Artists (UVA) at London’s Barbican Centre. The experience is a void of darkness filled with only 12 illuminated pendulums swinging rhythmically from the sky, creating an evolving composition of light and sound. The unexpected contrast of natural and synthetic patterns is designed to distort your perception of time and physical space
Time

Time is a measurement of the past and present.
“Time is not a reality (hypostasis), but a concept (noêma) or a measure (metron).” Antiphon the Sophist.
Time is a frame

My thoughts about Time

Time is a structural and narrative element.
Time is essential for many things, including photography.
Time is important to capture the right moment.
Time is a good indicator of our daily lives.
Time is crucial.

Cinema take references from theatre. Despite both mediums using cameras, they are essentially and fundamentally very different. Attached above, isn’t my work but just a photograph I took Read more →

Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper
A Professor of mine once asked me, in a thick Mexican accent, “What is your concept of time?”
Time froze as I struggle to say something smart…
According to the Einstein, time is Read more →
