A wallet made out of leather, with its sole purpose of keeping ones personal valuables inside. One will always interact with the wallet at various times of the day. Whenever the wallet is being used, it loses some “health”, and then the wallet recovers, when its “health” is replenished.

A little exercise we did with a plastic cling wrap to explore the idea of tension.

As the plastic has the properties and characteristic of being able to stretch and pull, I feel it is okay to use the material however, being soft, it tends to tear up easily.

Wrapping my classmates is not really that fun actually. By going around them Read more →

Time

Time is not of essence. I live every single day without regard to time. There is no discipline. Trying to change this, I bought myself a wrist watch from Bugis Street Sunday night. To be sure, I bought two. Will these help me keep track of my time? 10 minutes late. Always 10 minutes late. I love the freeing feeling Read more →

Yi Ting & I were given a piece of wood to interact with each other with.

Our selected wood was long and have some text to it which is important to identify its characteristic before proceeding to the interaction part. Knowing this, we can make use of the wood’s length and breadth to make an action towards it.

Time is a frame. People live in the frame of time. People make plan for their every day life and follow the rule set by time. However, people will get tires of the time some times. At the moment, people will call the time out. This is the reason why alcohol exists.

Time is a beautiful thing. Time is invisible but yet we make it tangible, on a analog clock, or digitally.

Time is weird, time is useless. We do not need to be told what time it is now. Time is inside us, time is man-made.

Time is a representation, time is irrelevant. Me doing some time on the internet Read more →

What time means to me:

Time is a reflection. It is essential to grasp the right momentum for the work piece we work on; if it’s too slow viewers would be bored, if it’s too fast viewers may miss out on the full experience of the work.

@ Naming is Quite a Pain

The problem I have with photography is that it is a still image, a still medium. It’s not necessary a bad thing, but it is how it is. It takes reference from paintings. Cinema take references from theatre. Despite both mediums using cameras, they are essentially and fundamentally very different. Attached above, isn’t my work but just a photograph I took Read more →
