So finally I decided to name it Hardland.
Enjoy the process video.
For now, I do not have any title for this work just yet. But enjoy the photographs. Will be doing a behind the scene video as well! Stay tune!
The idea behind this installation is to create a conversation on the topic of construction. These hard hats could represent a foreign worker or it could represent a balance Read more →
Over the weekend, I was still thinking of how to improve the current idea of my last post here. I was walking towards Tiong Bahru and i saw this construction site. Then it hit me. Scaffolding. I was thinking on what do I use as a stand for the hard hat to balance. So I went to art friend. I Read more →
So I spent the whole of Friday attempting to try the cups.
The vertical form will allow interact of two levels. Two different spaces in that sense. But what initially was supposed to be beneficial – (cause of gravity pull) didnt work out quite well. People will still need to pull the cups and stretch the threads a little for it Read more →

So there was a few readings in the folder tht Prof. Louis shared and I managed to read up on the chapter Setting the Stage in the book, “Goods and services are no longer enough”. Read more →
This week I explored the idea Play in Space.
I came across this reading of Eric Zimmerman on the “Narrative, Interactivity, Play, and Games: Four naughty concepts in need of discipline”
Perhaps more than any other one of the four concepts, play is used in so many contexts and in so many different ways that it’s going to be a real struggle to make it play Read more →
