For this project, I have referenced from two artists. The first would be Alex Konahin. I particularly liked how the artist used flora and fauna to compose an insect and I think that the technique used is very detailed and hence I wished to replicate the same idea for my work.

A Jungle in the Point-of-View of an Explorer is Perspective. 

A Pond in the Point-of-View of an Explorer is Temptation.

A Temple in the Point-of-View of an Explorer is Fortune.

These naturescapes are all images that I captured myself. I love bright, vibrant colours. I changed the colours to convey different moods and emotions, and I feel that the more they differ from our perceptions of reality, the more whimsical or impossible it would seem.
