A quick excerpt from the Encylopedia Mythica. Only one copy of this book exists, and it is on permanent display at a curiosity shop that only exists in rumors.
This is a quick overview on the animals that will appear in my Typography project and the symbolism behind them! I decided to create more of my own mythical creatures this time around Read more →

After my research, I sketched out various types of animals into my name using the different animal related occupations as a guideline and came up with a few samples I could use.
However, after sketching out the animals into random occupations, I felt that it was lacking a bit of personal branding, and seemed like a very straight forward Read more →
TP: Progress and questions

Hello my name is Kay (for short), and Ilike to work with my hands
As someone who is kinesthetic, I learn best through carrying out physical activities and it is also because of this trait that I began to love making/painting.
The technique I would like to use for this is string art, something that I’ve wanted to try for the longest Read more →

After all the research I did, I tried it out on my book page, scanned it in and gave a little bit of editing — more to enhancing the image with exposure and all.
Then I realised after I did all these, that I am somewhat at the metaphor or conceptual phase, for example: the thumbdrive, the binoculars, and perhaps the Read more →
