Hi Katie! Just a few thoughts that I had. 1. I have always thought of how to make trains more interactive by adding 'dance' steps on the floor. But I think the digital interface provides more ways to create more games to play too! 2. I do like the idea of scraping the 'reserved seat' sticker and introducing coloured seats. I thought that the project could be like, traffic light colours. It's more based on the user's responsiveness. Users get to plan if they are willing to give up their seat - Green. Users who are feeling a little tired/carrying too much but still willing to stand - Orange. And users who are totally not willing to give up their seats - Red. At these 3 different points, commuters’ behavior and attitude changes. Outside the train, they feel frustrated and annoyed, they want people to move in so they can board the train. However once they are in the train, these feelings of anxiousness and angst fades away and they no longer feel the need and drive to move into the cabin.
