Scaling the visualisation up – “Human Stones”
revolution & gravity by Yukio Fujimoto inspired me to deal with natural materials and sound that are subtle and may be easily overlooked in our daily lives. Fujimoto placed some salt, sugar, pepper etc into a tube attached to a motor from a musical box. He takes advantage of the rotating mechanics of the music box as well as Read more →

Before I dive into my final project, I will be sharing why and how it came to be.
I started this course with a simple assignment of “reflecting an example of generative art that I found interesting” and one of the examples I chance upon was Patrick Huebner “Generative Physics System”. What amazed me was the autonomous particle interactions. Furthermore, Read more →

It is Week 12 and aaaahhh
I don’t really have a lot of things to update this week! Basically what I did was to tidy and clean up the code of my HTML, and adding the narrative inside as previously organized. I also tried to tidy the aesthetics up, such as for the headers to make it more visually neat because Read more →

The inspiration of this study is phototropism, which is the way trees grow towards the light source.
Here, I’ve created an algorithm that generates a probability tree. The probability of where the next branch will grow depends if the light source is on the right or left.
Below, the number of iterations, i, is set to 100. Meaning there are 100 branches. Read more →
