Inspiration

revolution & gravity by Yukio Fujimoto inspired me to deal with natural materials and sound that are subtle and may be easily overlooked in our daily lives. Fujimoto placed some salt, sugar, pepper etc into a tube attached to a motor from a musical box. He takes advantage of the rotating mechanics of the music box as well as Read more →

Joey

@ jznki

It is Week 12 and aaaahhh

I don’t really have a lot of things to update this week! Basically what I did was to tidy and clean up the code of my HTML, and adding the narrative inside as previously organized. I also tried to tidy the aesthetics up, such as for the headers to make it more visually neat because Read more →

Thank you Joey. Permanent link is crucial, please do that. CSS Shake can be a nice touch. Please use it strategically to spice up / accentuate certain points, and do not go wild with it.
Correction: Permanent link = Temporary link (accessible by anyone).

INtial Exploration

Strengths:

Exploration of Emotions via Text allows for us to dissect and observe the change in one’s emotional state over a period of days. We do not need to personally know someone but rather just have access to the information on their devices, to have a perception of their intimate self.

Weakness:

Not visually powerful enough. The use Read more →

Project 1: Final Iteration

rachbuttybutt

Thursday, Oct 15, 2020 - 12:50:06 pm

@ beagles & golden retrievers

The inspiration of this study is phototropism, which is the way trees grow towards the light source.

Here, I’ve created an algorithm that generates a probability tree. The probability of where the next branch will grow depends if the light source is on the right or left.

Below, the number of iterations, i, is set to 100. Meaning there are 100 branches. Read more →
