Magnet Chimes

Inspiration

revolution & gravity by Yukio Fujimoto inspired me to deal with natural materials and sound that are subtle and may be easily overlooked in our daily lives. @ jznki

It is Week 12 and aaaahhh

I don’t really have a lot of things to update this week! Basically what I did was to tidy and clean up the code of my HTML, and adding the narrative inside as previously organized. I also tried to tidy the aesthetics up, such as for the headers to make it more visually neat because Read more →

Thank you Joey. Permanent link is crucial, please do that. CSS Shake can be a nice touch. Please use it strategically to spice up / accentuate certain points, and do not go wild with it.
Correction: Permanent link = Temporary link (accessible by anyone).

INtial Exploration

Strengths:

Exploration of Emotions via Text allows for us to dissect and observe the change in one’s emotional state over a period of days. We do not need to personally know someone but rather just have access to the information on their devices, to have a perception of their intimate self.

Weakness:

Not visually powerful enough. The use Read more →

Sonic quality of Wind Chimes

Pentatonic scale – a musical scale with five notes per octave

This is largely due to the fact that these scales inherently contain fewer dissonant intervals, and therefore sound more pleasant to the average listener Read more →

@ SAM

Second Iteration

For the second iteration, I was focused on improving the visuals of the lines and made two significant changes.

Implement different colour for different groups of lines. Increased visual width of the lines, when the lines are viewed closer.

Implementation of Different Colours
