That One Photo I Didn’t Take

It’s an image of two African men standing in a body of water. The sea level isn’t that high it reaches below their knees. They stood facing 45 degrees away from the camera. The sun seemed to be highlighting their side profile such that their shadows stretched towards the camera. The two men have a buzzed cut and stood in the middle of the vertically taken photo.

The general tone of the image is blue, where the sky is the perfect blue, the sea blue with that green tint and the articles worn by the two men is also navy blue. The beautiful dark skin of the models looks as if it has a tinge of blue but that might only be due to the reflected light. In the background, there is land that stretched across the picture, cutting the halfway vertically through the image, a few centimetres high up.  The blue sky has clouds that stretched themselves across the vast plane.

The image is most likely found in an editorial.
