Art Therapy Kit

art therapy kit as a medium for conversations on emotions
and feelings of participants; communication is key in the
building of empathy.

this art kit is to be minimal in design and packaging, more
of a “put together” collage of tools to reflect firstly, an
environmental consciousness through the use of
hand-me-downs or repurposed items; reduction of use of
packaging whenever necessary.

secondly, a non-uniformed tools and mediums aims to
reflect the spirit of a “grassroot movement”, allowing more
room for personalisation of tools. the minimal design in
turn removes the focus on the kit and allow for creative
thinking and lesser preconceived notions.

it differs from other kits in a sense that it does not include
standard colouring book to allow more room for creation
and conception. a teaching suggestion guide based upon
the themes aims to help to facilitate sessions with a
suggestion of ideas they could work upon.
