For this project, I chose Mask as it is a very common to see everywhere in our society. One reason for wearing a mask is to pretend to be someone or something else. The mask can be a kind of language that expresses the emotion of the figure one chooses to create. Wearing a mask infer several meanings. mask

Throughout history, and in the different cultures of the world, people in almost every society have worn masks for a variety of functions and purposes. So what was, and is, a mask used for? It may be used to change one’s identity, to transform one into a new character, or to hide one’s identity, or to protect one’s face from being hurt and so on.liar-wearing-mask

The mask may be used as a protective device, screen, or armor. From primitive to modern times, a safety mask serves to protect the wearer’s face from harm, or to guard against misfortune from supernatural spirits, or anything else the wearer fears. These protective masks commonly appear as figures of gods, or other supernatural or mythical beings. Sometimes a mask bears a grotesque appearance in order to frighten away evil spirits. For instance, in ancient Roman tournaments soldiers wore masks on their helmets to protect themselves against physical dangers during the fight.
