After going through 2 assignments based exclusively on black and white (and greyscale), it’s refreshing to be able to work on something in colour!
As this is something new for the module, it is definitely important to understand the usage of colours to ensure our work stands out.
Colour harmonies
Complementary – the use of colours opposite each other on the colour wheel
Analogous – the use of colours located next to each other on the colour wheel
Triad – the use of three colours evenly spaced on the colour wheel
Split Complementary – variation of the Complementary arrangement, similar but with lesser tension
Rectangular and Square – four colours from across the colour wheel
