CLOCKWORK TRAP
This week we had to create 3 characters and 1 story. I decided to connect all 3 characters in one story.
Blanche is an orphan. She has been since she was 3 when her mother passed away and her father left unable to contain his grief. To protect herself from the cruel world, she learns to disguise herself and learn how to act as people from all walks of life.
Mau is Blanche’s pet/childhood toy. He is a by-product of the disease. Blanche has no idea who the key belongs to, but suspects it’s her mother’s. Whenever she is in the city she is careful to take out the key to turn Mau back into a toy as not many people know about the key’s power.
Dr. Allan is one of the leading researchers in the wound up syndrome. He experiments with the keys and is seen as a threat by the government so he goes into hiding. Blanche is searching for him to help her find her father.
When all else fails, make up a story
So we were supposed to create 4 photos that had to do with add, subtract, substitute and superimpose. It sure did create great confusion in the class.
As for me, I was still very unsure even after the countless attempts to make it clear. Hence I decided on a story first, a story that had to do with the four words.
It goes like this,
A god was bored and decided to create two sisters (add), one was materialistic and the other was interested in human nature. Technically I did subtract the eyes and substitute the face with other images.
Hence the materialistic one tried collecting all that she desired (substitution in terms of trying to find meaning in life). Technique wise I would say I divided the image.
A demon saw his chance to use this girl’s greed (superimposed) and possessed her, leading to great destruction on earth, much to the demons pleasure. The technique used here was mostly to superimpose a demon on a female model.
The other sister learning the ways of the good, decided it was finally time to step up and killed both her sister and the demon (subtract).
I would like to grow trees at will
Hi I am Dora, or you could call me Road( like the D.gray man character).
I had a lovely time in class, finding out about my colleagues real identities. I got to know Cass, I mean Star Fire, especially well since we had to draw each other.
Such a resemblance don’t you think? I must say she has a flair for drawing. Plus my love for nature is shown. xoxo to her.
Naturally, my power would be controlling the elements, the strongest being earth. Well preventing global warming is just part of my daily job, but I must say these humans are pretty aggressive in cutting down trees. Goodness, do you think about their feelings?
I do hope that my powers would grow strong enough in 3 years to crush all evil doers with trees and make beautiful landscapes all over the world.
Ah, one can dream.
Oh I almost forgot, when I am not busy saving our poor Mother Earth, I will be acting as a student in ADM at NTU. I use to reside in SAJC, quite a comfy place, but I had to act like a normal human and “graduate”. Gah, how troublesome. I would say I am friendly, talkative and quirky so if you do have any need of saving please do drop by!
