The task was to take photos around school relating to one-point, two-point and three-point perspective.
One-Point Perspective
- Involves a single vanishing point.
- By placing your subject at the vanishing point, the lines guide the viewers to focus on your subject.
- Gives a sense of depth.
Two-Point Perspective
- Two vanishing points on a horizon line.
- Vertical edges are parallel.
- Creates illusion of space on a flat screen.
Three-Point Perspective
- Involves three vanishing points, creating a bird’s eye view or worm’s eye view.
- Used to convey different moods
- e.g. high angle shot conveys vulnerability, low angle makes subject look powerful (Citizen Kane, Star Wars)
