Moving on from smoke, I wanted to explore another idea I had in mind. I wanted to manipulate paper with chinese motifs.

Trying to learn to create a loop-able animation. However it feels very static to me.

Using the incense paper motif created above, I played around with the multiplication effect. I toy around with opacity, scale and rotation to create an “umbrella effect”. The line quality of the source is very poor due to the nature of incense paper.

My next step would probably be  vectoring the elements out and to also try to integrate the smoke animation I did during week 5.
