While going through the chapter, a TED talk that I watched came to mind. It shared a different perspective of how language shapes the way we think and how it affects the person’s sense of direction, spacial organisation and time.

A different school of thought about the concept of body, space and time are that the language shapes our thinking and in turn resulting in a very different relationship between men with their space.  With this understanding, we should not assume that the information provided in the chapter is applicable to all humans. This will help us better design interactive spaces by first analysing the way people think and whether their language affects their sense of space.

So rather than Body > Time & Space, we could consider Body > Mind/Language > Time & Space.
