Other than the stage design, the make up of the stage actors takes a lot of time, so even the execution is not just the performance, it also include the pre-performance, which is the make up and costume as well. I don’t want to be a green witch.
I remember reading this somewhere else; someone had brought their red/green colour blind friend to see Wicked for the first time, and that person was so uncomfortable throughout the musical because they thought that everyone was treating Elphaba so badly just because she was black.
