Foundation 2D Project 1 – Lines (Research) – Part 3
“Line” is one of the basic building block of Art, understanding the different types of line will help us with better artworks.
A “Line” is a “Dot” that went for a walk.
Below are some of the “Types of Line that I’ve explored.
- “Line” can create the illusion of form by the use of thick and thin lines adding value to the drawing.
- “Line” can control the viewers eyes.This can be done so by drawing contour line which transform 2D drawings into 3D as a form of visual perception.
- “Line” can be use to communicate the form with the viewer. This is can be done so by adding value and light source in the drawings adding
