Finally after playing around with all the images I had, and working with my idea, I came up with my final 4 compositions.

Firstly, my idea for the composition was to portray a person that’s facing a daily dilemma of making a decision of choosing between good or bad. The good or bad representing the angels and demons respectively. My initial story was to follow through with the whole rhyme and show that Humpty(Me), sitting on a wall, and in the end choosing the bad side. In turn, causing Humpty to be brought down to hell and tortured, while the angels can only stand by and watch as it happens.

But towards the end, I changed my idea to working with the first line of the rhyme where humpty dumpty sits on a wall. The idea still remained the same where Humpty Dumpty (Me), is sitting on a wall, deciding between good or bad. Having experienced and shown both the good and bad side, Humpty still sits in the middle, knowing that everyday, one faces both the good and bad side of life.

The pictures I needed for the rhyme of Humpty seemed quite straight forward at first. I just started with searching images that were related to the subjects of each line of the rhyme. But it was only after searching for the images that I realised I wasn’t really heading anywhere with the images I had.

Below are some of the starting few images I started with!

I mostly had knights, and horses and ALOT of eggs that I thought I could work with.

I really had not much ideas to work with, especially with this images, so I had to search for even more pictures. I decided to focus more towards representing the meaning of the lines from the rhyme with the topic of angels and demons.

Below are the few new images that I found to use for my compositions!

I wanted something or someone to represent Humpty Dumpty from the rhyme in my compositions. After much trial and testings, I just decided to include myself in as the main subject, Humpty Dumpty!

I also decided to use my monoprints as the backgrounds for my compositions.
