This shot was taken from an angle that is common to us everyday; all ready to eat lunch at our usual spot with our chopsticks.

Whenever I think of chopsticks, I would always link it to our famous cupnoodles! Therefore, I felt that it was important to include them in since these two go hand in hand.

I decided to take a shot of the chopsticks showing its function; to pick up food. However, I thought that it would be a bit more interesting if I added a twist. Instead of noodles, I used something that looks close to it that is….earpiece! The angle was chosen from a first person point of view.

This shot looked like a scientific discovery to me; something that you’ll see under a microscope.

I realised that my outfit and the colours on the chopstick wrapper matched. I seized the opportunity and positioned it such that it looked like a part of the dress or even an accessory.

Lastly, I wanted to play around with the scale and make the chopsticks appear smaller compared to the environment. To me, this shot managed to show the “insignificance” of the chopsticks as they appear like scratches on a table.
