Contour drawing help to train our observation and eye. To focus on the outline and overall shape rather than the details.

As someone with zero art background, this prove to be quite a challenge for me. After some practice and few awful attempts, I manage to produce some contour drawing of my hand that I would give myself an A for effort. In fact I am actually quite proud of my “babies”.

Started off with something easier(and so I thought). 

“Babies” 2 and 3, where I attempt drawing my hand from different angle. The picture of my hands with finger bend and view from the side prove to be the most difficult to draw(difficult to figure out the shape).

 Part of the homework for lesson 1, where we have a draw self portrait without actually drawing ourselves(Chim).
