These are some initial compositions that I’m exploring for the banner. For now the first seem like the best option. Will be playing around with more compositions this week!

Motif exploration 1
Development of papercuts into larger, complex compositions 
After scanning, I digitized the shapes in photoshop.
After digitizing each composition, I tried to break them up to smaller motifs to try repeating the pieces.
I also tested cropping some of the bigger compositions to play with the layout.
