Narrativity

Presence or even the absence of a narrative is vital to any piece of work. It helps people to understand or even question the theme of the work itself.

One narrative that engages my thoughts is from “What Gives Us Our Names”. This book personifies things that we know like Passion, Depression, Confidence, etc. And it triggers thoughts on what and how these things that we have in our daily lives can actually be like.

  1. I love this book, it identifies characters using words instead of names and define us based on the way we behave. It makes us question our characters and our personalities. We identify with several characters in the book because we see their traits?
