When I think of Singapore, I think of the many coffee shops that exist (commonly) under or near blocks of flats. And with those coffee shops, I naturally think of the drinks you can get at the drink store and how they are delivered to you, the consumer. For takeaway, drinks usually come in a clear plastic bag with either a fluorescent green or pink string and a straw. For your own enjoyment at the establishment, traditionally, the drinks would come, filled dangerously to the brim, in these cream ceramic cups with a saucer. Nowadays, they come in these clear glass mugs with a small metal teaspoon.
