Story summary:
In a tragic twist of events, while away on a road trip, Clara lost her sister, Chloe, her brother-in-law, Victor, and her best friend, Jessica, in a car accident.
Being the sole survivor of the accident, the guilt coupled with the grief from losing her loved ones, causes Clara to develop split personalities, taking on the personalities of her loved ones and subsequently an additional personality known as Rachel – a personality developed due to her reliance on drugs.
Aware of her taking on of her loved one’s personalities, she subsequently was unable to cope with it as she realizes that taking on their personality is different from having them by her side and turns to suicide.
