“People behind the old charm” by Desmond Lim Home In Focus Exhibition at Objectifs
The photo series features wide shots of people in their homes, shot in a neutral angle. I was intrigued by how the objects and everything else in a place can reveal so much about the person living in it. I wanted to do the same for my assignment and thought about how I can capture my natural habitat in a way that tells a story about what kind of person I am.

The concept behind this series of emotion panels are based on what goes through my head when I engage in my favourite past time – watching korean dramas.
The methodology for creating these pieces are inspired by Ed Moses who creates his work from spontaneity based on his emotions, and Julie Mehretu, who uses layers and transparency in her work.
