Naturescapes – Playing with colour
These naturescapes are all images that I captured myself. I love bright, vibrant colours. I changed the colours to convey different moods and emotions, and I feel that the more they differ from our perceptions of reality, the more whimsical or impossible it would seem. Read more →
Inspirations
The artist is Anderson Debernardi, and he was born in a village near the Amazonian rainforest. I love his paintings because they have a psychadelic feel and combine a plethora of colours together almost seamlessly to create a sense of mystique and it seems that the paintings have a life of their own. Typographic portrait 4: A puppet of Fate
All our actions and decisions are merely the machinations of a predetermined universe and that our concept of ‘free will’ is nought but a comforting illusion. This is my hand drawn calligram, or calligraphy mural, on square paper measuring 12×12 inches. It is of the phrase above that talks about how all our actions are fated. Playing with colours^. Typographic portrait 3: A misanthrope
The irony is that sometimes I am a misanthrope because I’m not really sure how I should be acting around people without fucking up. Social interaction is tiring and oh so confusing sometimes so I get afraid of people because I might say or do the wrong thing and cause situations to implode upon themselves. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misanthropy Go away people. Sleep. Don’t we all never get enough of it? How hectic our lives are as ADM students. Compounded with the fact that I am an unpredictable insomniac. Ego – Panel Two: FTS
My own calligraphy – ‘Fuck the System’. Then digitally manipulated. Then superimposed on itself. ^Reflects my rejection of the greater society due to it being impersonal, superficial and dehumanising. There exists a lack of compassion and understanding. Bigotry and narrow-mindedness prevail. Different is seen as bad and people merely conform to societal norms and expectations. Sheeple. Merely following the herd.… Read more →

Project Ego – Initial
I was inspired to experiment with patterns and colours. The initial rough idea was to try out clean lines and cool, analogous colours on the colour wheel. These are patterns I created myself using some images and a mobile phone app called kaleidoscope. As the name suggests, it converts any image into a nice pattern print. Read more →
