Sticking to the colour scheme of the corporate identity with the colour red, and keeping in mind the teal vest which the pin will be pinned on, and a yellow colour to complement these two colours and at the same time capturing the spirit of the volunteers — liveliness, fun, excitement.
These colours should come together to exude a sense of fun making the volunteers feel proud when wearing the badge and at the same time, appeal to people making them want the badge.
Playing with handwritten font and the chalkduster typeface (readability and scalability) as well as some alterations to the details (playing the the dominating colour and the choice of hue for the accent) and also the application of the different values of the two different hues against the yellow background.
