“Dis Comfort” is an exploration of the comforts and discomforts within one’s home. Through the emphasis of sound and visuals, this video brings the the viewers through a day living in my home. The switching of scenes show the constant disturbances of construction sites and the lack of privacy in the day, amongst other common “comfortable” sounds (birds chirping, wind chimes, water trickling). As the day progresses, the setting gets darker, softer, and the disturbances slowly dimishes.
