Then everything changed when the Monochromes attacked (ง ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)ง

This Research piece will be exploring the different types of colour harmonies that can be used in Art and future projects, based around the colour wheel.

Complementary / Analogous / Triad / Split-Complementary / Tetradic / Square

Complementary

Purple and Yellow, Direct Contrast. Colours that are across each other on the colour wheel.

Analogous

Red, Orange and Yellow. Colours that are next to each other on the colour wheel.

Triad

Red, Yellow and Blue. From 3 corners of the Colour Triangle.

Split-Complementary

Red, Turquoise, Green. These form an imbalanced triangle on the colour wheel.

Tetradic

Red, Green, Yellow, Purple. These colours form a Rectangle in the colour wheel.

Square

Red, Green, Blue, Yellow. Four Corners of the Colour Circle.
