We were doing the mark making with various tools that day. The theme was emotion and the concept was black and white.

I tried using a roller for the first time for mark making.

We also tried  monoprinting.

First we sketched the motif we want to make. Then, we carved it using carving tools.

I covered the DIY stamp’s surface with black ink using a roller. Then, stamped it onto a paper and pat the stamp to give pressure to the stamp. And voila, monoprint!

For Memory Drawing, we were asked to reminisce a certain emotion and draw whatever we want with our non-dominant hand. We did 3 emotions: Happiness, Anger, and Sadness.
