Some of the colour tests that I did for the exercise on colour last week!
I’m not very satisfied with the first exercise because I still can’t see much difference in the brown/purple across the rainbow background.
The second exercise was very fun- But I did a really tedious method of outlining all the shapes on Illustrator instead of using the Fill Tool><
First Exercise:
Observing brown on the saturated rainbow background
Observing purple on the same background
Second Exercise:
The first of the names that I experimented with. The green of my name turned out more vibrant against the darker shades of green.
Trying out complementary colours and a diagonal gradation of values for the red background.
Trying out analogous colours for the background- Blue-Violet, Violet, Blue, Blue-Green and Green.
