Physical Product
I wanted to create a retractable mechanism where I could pull the lipstick microphone smoothly as it retracts itself back into the box. However, I realized there were three wires attached to the mic. So, it was too thick after I wrapped a heat-shrink tubing around it. The retracting action was not smooth and it got stuck at times. In the end, I scrapped the idea off.

As usual, you would not be able to escape the chaotic wires hidden within its shell.

Technical
I had brought the device to class and realized that the microphone sensitivity was different than in my room. I had to adjust and lower the Audio Level and Confidence Level in BitVoicer Server so the mic was able to pick up sounds effectively. Tiffany had mentioned to me that probably the space in IM Lab was too spacious and noisy as compared to my smaller and enclosed room.
