Fire and Ice.
I interpreted the poem Fire and Ice by Robert Frost and the end of the world in terms of human relationships. The first two photos show fire and ice before destruction whereas the last two photos show the consequence of the excessiveness of fire and ice.
Red roses symbolise passion and love. Normally, giving red roses to someone is considered a romantic gesture and relates very much to the human emotion.
Blue roses on the other hand, cannot be achieved naturally and evoke a sense of unattainability. One can draw relations between the detached and unfeeling nature of the mind and the artificial quality of blue roses. This is because emotions seemingly come more naturally than rational thoughts.
Too much of emotion and passion may consume a relationship. The overindulgence of passion(bottle of liquor) without rational thinking may cause recklessness and the destruction of a relationship.
Likewise, too much of logical thinking and the lack of emotions (empty bottle) would also lead to the breakdown of relationship. The consequence of such actions are isolation and numbness. Therefore both scenarios ultimately result in the failure of a relationship.
