Exploring After Effects and Premiere Pro

After losing all my data after my computer crashed around a week before submission, I was in a state of anxiety and panic. I was desperately looking for alternatives that could produce similar effects and not shortchange my work. I knew I didn’t have time to re-film/ recode. I went into unchartered territory (again), into after effects. I found these tutorials online and I tried them. When deemed fit, I would personalise it and afterwards, bring it to premiere pro to modify it further. (composition, masking, colour grading…)

I also found some cool stock footages that I later used to overlay and add interesting textures

eg.

To get these backgrounds, I had to bring whatever images I have to photoshop to stretch and multiply to fit the MAN screen dimensions. Used the healing, burning, patch, content aware, blurring tools to create these seamless backgrounds.

process of tiling:

The following are results of playing with effects, colours in premiere pro. Love how two simple backgrounds can produce such varied designs.
