Jihan Zencirli made a name for herself in the art world designing colorful balloon installations. She inspired me to take on this job as my imaginary occupation. She says, “While something I create may only last for three days, it’s worth every second if even one person is moved by it.” 

Hence, my imaginary occupation is an established artist creating balloon installations for some of the biggest events — parties, weddings, concerts — around the globe. 

My name is Syadza and I am a

Initially, I practiced to make normal spherical balloons and also explored the materials settings in order to give ‘foil balloon reflective surface’ effect. And it works. So I moved onto create the text of my name. It was just a plain block of text which then transformed into foil balloon, with seaming on the side of the balloons. (if look closely enough) These seams are important in order to create the surface texture and creases on the side.

After experimenting with different backgrounds, I decided to place these balloons at the corner of an empty room. This gives of the elegance of the balloons and conveys the audience that these are not just balloons, it is an art installation.
