Greetings

By: Randall Packer |

On behalf of the Art of the Networked Practice | Online Symposium team, including our partners at Furtherfield, thank you for registering. We are pleased to present a stellar lineup of keynote speakers, panelists, and participating artists this coming March 31 – April 2, 2015.

I invite you to review the symposium program and take note of the artists, educators, performers and scholars we have brought together from all over the world to capture the range and diversity of current networked practices in the arts.

It is our intent to extend the reach of the symposium format: free, open and accessible to anyone, anywhere with a network connection and a computer. Too often academic conferences are beyond the reach of those who might benefit most from being part of a truly global conversation. We aim to change that: using the network to amplify our voices and bring the conversation to everyone who wishes to participate.

We will keep you abreast of the Art of the Network Practice | Online Symposium with this series of announcements, which will provide you with instructions for the Adobe Connect web-conferencing platform, news, updates, interviews, and ways you can participate.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments. And be sure and forward this newsletter to friends, students, and colleagues.

All best,

Randall Packer
