The in class practical where we were supposed to experiment with found objects to create an artwork. The object must be place in a way that is looks unusual and alienated. Preferably, the image can send out a message.
I decided to use an important object that we interact with on a daily basis, Laptop. Nowadays, almost 80% of the people in the world are addicted to Social media. Accounting for the most time spent on a gadget in a day on average at 3hr 12 mins in Singapore. This kills time, plus it brings huge side-effects on the person’s health. So I decided to use my laptop, being the signifier and the signified being time.

The photo shows the laptop in the the rubbish bine. I wanted to convey the idea‘throwing time away’. Hence, this picture signifies the time wasted.
