Main characters struggle with their own egos and inner demons; They fight against powerful forces of ignorance, violence, prejudice, brutality, slavery and hatred. In each era, brave men and women speak out against the darkness and defend what they believe.
First version:
Liberty, when it is taken away, you will realize the value of it. So I use a bunch of roots to represent vicious power. The hand on the top is people who want to regain the freedom. But I find that the root is not an appropriate symbol of “vicious power”.
My Second version:
I changed the roots to twined Chains which is devouring the statue of liberty. It is concise and powerful. This version satisfied me.
